These are a fabulous pair of old-school traditional, early 19th century paintings of English hunting dogs on panel. They are in distressed gold gilded frames with brass rings for hanging, very charming. One with a label on the back. The pictures themselves measure 4" x 3".

German painting of a mother and two children reluctantly going to school. Over the door there is writing in German. It is very early 19th century in very good condition. Looks like it has been realigned many many years ago. No signature found.

Anton Passinger was an Austrian artist born in 1825. He died in 1900. The name is anglicized on the brass plaque, and it’s signed with his German signature on the back. The painting it's self measures ten and half inches by seven inches.
